How Do You Expect To Lose Weight Without Planning, Weekends And Discipline?

In this day and age, people are most often very career minded whether you are male or female. We get up early in the morning, go to work, coming home late and tired and go back to sleep again. And our weekend are mostly used up by family or time used to unwind ourselves from the stress. So how do we find the time to exercise? And in most cases, it seems that all we do is work and eat and as a result we gain more weight than we want to.
First things first, you have to start planning. You have to set yourself a schedule on how much time of sleep you need or what time you usually get off work. And find some free time in between that seems to be consistent almost everyday. Now since you are only starting out, it's good to set aside 3 days during your weekdays to work out. And it would be better if you could join a gym with a fitness instructor who can arrange a comfortable schedule for you to work with.
Now second thing is, use your weekends wisely. I know it is really great to sleep in and wake up at a really comfortable time. But don't waste both your weekends' days sleeping the morning away. The best time of the day to go jogging and to enjoy the freshest air is in the morning. So choose one of your weekends for some morning exercises. It's the best time for some cardiovascular work outs.
Above all, we must remember to discipline ourselves. You must always adhere to the schedule you have set for yourself and to never veer off course. Only really important emergencies are good enough of an excuse for you not to do you intended workout for the day. And even so, make sure you reschedule your workout day at the next available day.
It also is best to let your loved ones know about your schedule so that they will respect it and not disturb you unnecessarily. I find the best way to get motivation to go to the gym is to have friends along for the ride. It's always good to have a gym partner, someone who can motivate you and for you to motivate at the same time. At least you will have more fun during your workouts.
But in the end, do not be too harsh on yourself. It is definitely okay to step out of the schedule once in a while to reward yourself. As long as you maintain consistency in the long run, you should not have a problem.
