Exercise will of course help but the fact is that many looking to lose weight risk serious injury by doing too much exercise because there body isn't used to it. Eating 4 meals a day is an important factor in the diets success as this is what keeps the metabolism worker hard all day long. Changing the calories helps because this stops your body sensing you are on a diet which would result in it slowing down your metabolism ( this is the reason many low calorie diets fail ).
Exercising will help the process if done sensibly but the diet will still work if you do none. The average loss using the calorie shifting method is between 8 and 15 pounds in just 2 weeks and many of these results are from people not doing any exercise routine at all.
