Those seeking graduate degrees in alternative medicine will find a number of good master degree programs in natural healing. The fields of study can be quite diverse, and many natural healing schools will count acupuncture, massage therapy and traditional Chinese medicine among the graduate study disciplines offered.
In order to apply to Master Degree programs, applicants must usually have completed undergraduate degrees, including the Associate Degree and the Bachelor Degree in a related field. Many colleges, universities and holistic healing centers will also require proof of a GPA of 3.0 or higher, as well as letters of recommendation to qualify the student for master studies.
Schools for natural healing can provide an intriguing array of graduate studies, from alternative medicine to parapsychology. The completion of the Master's degree (MA or MS) will qualify graduates to immediately enter into many specific occupations; other students will opt to continue their education to achieve a Doctorate degree.
