Lion King Parties are the Hit of the Pride!

The Lion King movie spawned by Disney is now a smash success on Broadway. Whether your child prefers the animated classic or the theatrical production, a Lion King party just may be what your cub is looking for at his next birthday party.
Fun Lion King party invitations can be made at home. Just trim tan or orange construction paper to mimic a lion or lion cub. Everyone will know the theme immediately upon opening the envelope and if you affix Lion King stickers you will only add to the excitement. Use a white gel pen or marker to write the invitation information on one side.
There are so many decoration possibilities for a Lion King party. With the variety of pictures, posters and figurines of the Pride that many people already have in their own collection, there may be no need to purchase decorations at all. Just use what the guest of honor may already have to add flavor to the room or borrow from friends and relatives. And of course, dont leave out the key members of the Pride like Nala, Timon, Pumbaa and of course Simba.
To add to the atmosphere have one of the Lion King movies playing in the background. This may help kids unwind after a party game. Also make sure to have the soundtrack from either the Broadway production or any of the movies. Having the kids sing their favorite Lion King tunes is a great way to keep the party excitement growing.
