Lose 5 Pounds in a Week

You can lose 5 pounds in a week. Whatever the reason you have for losing weight fast, you can accomplish your goal!
To make this possible, it will take a couple things. You have to commit to doing it and then you need to do it. Once you have that determined in your mind, then you are ready to go.
Water
Starting today be sure to drink 8 glasses or more of water a day. Be sure this is water - juices, sodas, coffee, wine or beer do not count. This will help provide a way for your body to get rid of the fat that will be coming off.
Exercise
Start exercising. Okay, you may not like to hear that one, but if you really want to accomplish your goal then it is a must. Try doing interval training. That is short burst of activity followed by a slower pace. Repeat this for 10 to 20 minutes two or three times over the week. If you go for 10 minutes try to do this twice a day.
Here is an example of interval training using walking. Start out on a walk at a comfortable pace that will get you warmed up for a couple minutes. Then walk as fast as you can comfortably for a couple minutes. Slow your pace when your breathing becomes rapid.
Now slow your pace down until your breathing is close to normal. You can then repeat this process three or more times depending on how much time you have. You can use this basic approach to jumping jacks, jumping rope, running, swimming or any other activity you can make it work with.
Diet
To get the weight off quickly you will need to change up what you eat. This may not be quite as bad as you think. Remember you only need to keep this up for a few days until you have lost the 5 pounds. Your goal is one week but if it takes five days or eleven to accomplish it either way you will have lost the weight.
To get this done in seven days you can take advantage of food combinations and how they can help your body lose the fat. You no longer have to think of food as your enemy. Instead you can make peace with food and get it to cooperate with you.
