Partying is something that practically everyone goes through in some form or the other during his or her lives.
Parties come in many shapes and sizes. Childhood offers parties with cakes, presents, and soft drinks. However, once you grow older, the meaning of a party is a party with food, dancing and DRINKS!
Once a party starts with drinks, people really drink. Laughing, dancing, and food all make a person drink more than they can handle. So driving home or catching a taxi after heavy drinking proves to be rather difficult for some partygoers. You can help such people who find it difficult to reach home after a heavy party. You could start a party designated driver service.
It is not that you can offer to drive just about anyone from a party to their houses. You could work for a company, and offer to take employees of the company home after a long, heavy night of drinking. Of course, you do not offer this service free. You can either charge for each person driven home or offer to drive a group of people from the party to their respective homes. Charging $10 per person or $200 for 20 people is rather reasonable; and compared to a possible D.U.I, your service is much cheaper in the long run!
This is a relatively new field, something that is just budding. This is a rather lucrative business as after long party of drinking, it proves to be rather difficult getting a cab because of two things; it could be rather late to get a cab; or the person may not be in a position to look for a cab! So instead of looking for a cab, these people will happily pay you for offering your service of taking them home safely. In some places, taxi services are not even offered, so you are potentially saving someone from driving drunk behind the wheel.
Moreover, there are now many stringent rules of driving under the influence. Traffic police officers who catch a driver who has had too much to drink makes them pass their driving under the influence tests. If the driver fails in these tests, he or she will be taken to the station and fined accordingly, probably lose their license, and their car insurance will skyrocket. Therefore, to avoid all this hassle after an enjoyable night of partying, people will more than be ready to pay you for this service!
Of course, you do not need any investment for this business. All you will need is your own car, and of course, a valid driving license. If you don\'t have a car, you may as well rent a car during the stipulated time of pickup, and cover up your rental charges in your charges to them. You will have to give some advertisement of your services, so that partygoers will be aware of you. You could perhaps place some notice on your office bulletin board, or get news of your service known to everyone through word of mouth.
Once a party in your office uses your services as a driver for them after their party, these members are sure to recommend your services to all future parties of the office. With this, you can be sure of getting new business for your new form of service.
