A lot of people want to know what are the weight loss pills that really work. Well I did some research and found that a lot of weight loss pill really work but the problem with most of them is the fact that they are not natural and have severe side effects. Let's give an example about ephedra, it's one of the most powerful weight loss pills out there but it's also very harmful.
In the following lines I will talk about a weight loss pill that really works but it is also natural and safe to use. Many of you probably heard of Hoodia, well hoodia is 100% natural and it works. Of course if you get 100% hoodia because there are a lot of products out there that claim to have pure stuff but in fact they have artificially altered products, witch of course have severe side effects, but we will get to that later.
First I want to explain what is hoodia. Hoodia is a plant that resembles a cactus but is in fact a succulent. It grows in South Africa and it takes about 5 years to reach adulthood and only then it can be harvested. Natives from South Africa used the plant to keep them hunting longer without having to eat.
Let me explain how hoodia works. It has an active ingredient called hoodia gordonii that contains p57. p57 goes into your brain and tricks it in telling it that you are full, if you think you are full you will loose your appetite so, you won't eat as much and due to this fact you will loose weight. It's strange how this is possibile but it works.
The upside of hoodia is the fact that it is natural so it minimizes the side effects. Well I did a lot of research and could not find any documentation of side effects except some counter indications that stated: if you have some kind of liver abnormality then you should not use the product same thing applies to pregnant women. The reason for these is because the product, really works and, you won't feel the need to eat, but in order for a fetus to fully develop you need a lot of nourishment, same thing goes for kidney abnormalities.
The downside of hoodia is the fact that it's such a popular product but such a rare plant so people come up with artificially altered products that can seriously harm your health. They all claim it is 100% pure hoodia gordonii but most of the time it's all lies. I would advise anyone before buying to make sure they have proper certification and also read some reviews about the product to be sure that it's the real thing.
